Where are some cheap places to get glow-sticks and LED lights?

July 21st, 2010 by admin
Another post from Solar Christmas Lights.

I’m helping to organize a relatively large (maybe 200 people?) game of midnight capture the flag, and am in charge of designing the flags and finding a way to differentiate between the two teams.

For the flags we will likely be needing some little LED lights, and for one way to tell between teams, we were looking at glow necklaces/bracelets.
Does anyone know a good, inexpensive place to get these? Or, if you have any other ideas, feel free to answer with them!

The best place would be a local dollar store, which would have a lot of glow in the dark items, especially near any holidays like independance day.
You could also look on ebay in the wholesale section where they sell a lot of bulk items for cheap prices.

If you live in an area where there are Dollar Tree stores, they have a ton of them.

Or you can buy them wholesale through the Oriental Trading Company.
