Another post from Solar Christmas Lights.

This is an electric motor turned Christmas Tree to celebrate Christmas in July. The motor is powered by its first phase and it uses its second stage to collect energy to power the lights, the energy coming from the magnetic flux. me and a couple buddies i am interning with built this. go NASA.

    i would if i wasnt 800 miles away from it and back in school…:-\ Also the motor underwent a complete redesign after i finished my internship there…Myabe i could put something together on motors but thats not really original.

    I more of just posted for the novelty, it was just a fun thing we did with our free time one day in the lab.

    If i find the time between problem sets ill see what i can do…
